BOOK DESCRIPTION
Set partly in England and partly in Jamaica, this is a wonderfully evocative and dramatic real-life tale of a British girl who was kidnapped from her father by her mother after she lost custody of her child.

In revenge the young child is taken away to Jamaica and lives there with her mother. For fifteen years or more she lives in severe hardship and is subjected to mental, psychological and physical abuse at the hands of her mother.

Years later the girl was fortunate to return to the UK and, when reunited with her mother she makes an extraordinary discovery about the dark world her mother is involved in. She is in pure disbelief as she learns that powerful and often evil spells have systematically been cast upon her by a supernatural power with the intention of destroying her. These are displayed to her in the form of dramatic and frightening dreams and paranormal activities which surround her no matter where she goes. Matters escalate as her mother extends her control and wickedness to her daughter’s family.

Eventually she decides to try to wrest back take control of her own life and rid herself of these influences. In so doing she unearths the most horrendous truth about her mother, a truth that leaves her almost dumbstruck in disbelief, a truth that explains many of the happenings in her life but which remains almost unbelievable.

The author’s journey through life is a dramatic and highly emotionally charged one. It is a combination of experiencing paranormal activities – spiritual wickedness, child abuse, poverty and neglect. At the time of writing this book it is still on-going and has escalated. She was inspired to share with the world her experience because of her awareness that many others are suffering in silence because nature or culture dictates that a mother is caring and someone you always trust almost like a shadow of yourself so people may be afraid to come out and share their experiences. That she is unable to fully come to terms the fact that, in her case, this is most certainly not true and that her relationship with her mother goes against this accepted paradigm is why she has decided to make this most personal tale public and why the title, A Strange Mother, is so particularly appropriate
