5.0 out of 5 stars An Exciting Sequel April 29, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Blue Bayou, Book II, was as enthralling as Book I. I felt the emotions and injustice that the next generations of characters incurred. I also enjoyed learning about the early history ofNew Orleans and Louisiana. I may go back and re-read both books and relive the intertwining of the characters's lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY BOOK I BEFORE YOU GET THIS ONE. April 11, 2014

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is book II of a 100 year family saga. Be sure you read Book I first. There are twists and turns and love and pain. And there is quite a bit a real history. I loved Book I so much, I was on Amazon within 10 minutes of finishing it to get this one. And I loved this one too. Both are fairly long books, but I powered through, as they were that hard to put down. I read through dinners, and read past bedtime. You will not be sorry if you purchase these two books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely historial romance novel November 7, 2014
By
Steve McDowel
Format:Kindle Edition
I started this book and couldn't put it down. It reminded me of everything I loved about romance as a young man. The characters were like real people with real problems, and the story one that made you want to stick with them all the way to the end. Annie and Ryan were the perfect couple for the perfect reasons. I loved the emotional build-up with just the right amount of sexual tension. It's hard for me to write more without spoilers, but I would say if you grew up loving historical romance novels that made you smile, laugh and tear up occasionally--you'll love this one.

Addicting Outback Romance November 10, 2014
By
Becca Quinlan
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I haven't read any historical romances set in Australia before, but I think this is becoming my new favorite niche within the genre. I really enjoyed the Outback setting--it added so much to the romance and the story. Annie Tremayne deals with the turmoil of romantic advances from two very different men. The way things play out had me turning the pages like crazy. This is one of those books that once you start, you more or less can't put down. I really enjoyed this historical romance. I am looking forward to checking out other romance stories by Parris Afton Bonds.
