I loved Robbins' last book The Reluctant Human. His latest, a story about young love blossoming between John, our narrator, and Dawn, his love interest, while Dawn's mother dies is inspiring, warming and heart-wrenching all at the same time. Robbins captures all the emotions of new love, and all the fear of losing a parent. If you've ever lived through either and especially if you've experienced both, Dawn is a must read. Call your parents, hug your kids, kiss your spouse and order a copy.
Get ready for greatness Douglas Robbins!

DAWN is a heartfelt story about two emotional people who are torn between obligation and love. The author takes us on his roller coaster of life. Characters are very real and written with a lot of emotion. In addiiton the beautiful nature that is described is amazing. Many times during the book I felt like I was right there, like a fly on the wall. I really enjoyed this book
