BOOK OF THE DAY: King's Blood by P.J. Day

by P.J. Day

BOOK DESCRIPTION
King's Blood: Vampire Revealed (A Serial Novel, Episode 1) is the first entry into the King's Blood: A Vampire Thriller Serial novel. The serial starts off by introducing Jack King, a vampire who has managed to survive 145 years by being cunning, resourceful, and adaptive. He muses about his life in 2012 and how he's managed to stay in the shadows in a world where privacy is eroding faster than it has ever done before. We also are introduced to his love interest, Holly, who has no clue that Jack is something else other than human, and that his true identity is something she only has seen through the eyes of film, fiction and fantasy.

Vampire Revealed is just the first few chapters of a novel that most readers are describing as one of the most thought provoking, and inventive vampire novels in the market today. John Warner from Indiebookspot.com calls the first entry: "Atmospheric and extremely memorable, this is the story of Jack, a vampire who is finally starting to feel that he can tell his story"

This is a great book to read if the same vampire prespective is getting old. It gives a great prespective about being a vampire and human! Along with some laughs. The pages turn so easily your surprised when you come to the end. Luckily there is a second book!

This intro sucked me in and quickly especially since it was such a different take on how a modern-day vamp would live.
