War) are free!

Safe Haven: A place of safety and of light, of duty and honor: A
Refuge for survivors.
Also: A place of death and darkness, where magic and murder go hand in hand.
After months of carrying the burdens alone, Adrian finally has the help he needs. Five of the six have come, and he can't wait to get things started. With Angie's magic and his skills, he is about to rebuild an entire country... If he can keep them out of the Slaver's path long enough to get these special refugees to bond. If they won't work together, America has little chance.
Can Adrian keep the enemy at bay long enough to teach his people how to be survivors of this new apocalyptic world? Will he be able to stop the bloodshed or will everything he's built start to fall?
"Ready to go? This way to Safe Haven, Slaver attacks, and the Supernatural..."

AUTHOR BIO
I'm Angie. (Pen name)
Little pleases me more than to explore the dark fantasy and horror stories in my head. Knowing other people like them, is second only to the magic of this new career I've chosen. As a die-hard Cincinnatian, I much prefer writing to the stresses of being a city Taxicab dispatcher. Thank you for making my dreams possible, and for looking at this page!
Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, lets you and I take a little stroll. There's a story I need to let out of its cage and I think it's one you need to hear. It's about the end of the world as we know it...
Note: Many of my books were removed until the new editors, Kim and Sharon, and I, could get them into top shape. It was clear from the reviews, that we had a lot of work to do. We began in Feb. As of Oct., we now have 9 of 11 titles finished and back online for your reading pleasure. The remaining books will return as soon as we finish them.

The main characters come together. Each from his/her own
personal hellish journey. The outlaws are closer than those inside Safe Haven
think. There are spies among them. We're introduced to some of the most vicious
beings humanity has ever seen. They are called Slavers, but they are much worse
than that name alone implies.
Within the pages of this book, you get a dose of how much we depended on the social structure of our society and how much of what we took/take for granted will be lost when that structure falls apart.
Tension builds. Alliances are made. All of these things are foreshadowed by what will be life or death for the community of survivors.
There is more magic. Some questions are answered and we get a glimpse into a world gone mad in every sense of the word.

A real page
turner, right up until the too quick end. If you've read the first two parts of
the Life After War series, then you are as hooked as I am. Barely being able to
wait to read the conclusion of a very satisfying read. Ah! patience is truly a
virtue I am beginning to become all too familiar with.

Buy the 1-3 book combo b/c you have to keep reading!
The story is extremely intense. Lots of action. It isn't a pretty world after the war.
This Author develops characters and scenes fantastically. I would watch this if it were a series. There are some editing issues but not to many or painful. The author likes to keep the whole story going so when you finish this story you are heading for the next book. Be prepared to commit to the series or you will be frustrated at the lack of resolution. I want to compare to the tv show that I can't wait for next wk's episode. Also the books are very long. I call that a lot of story for my money!
