THIS BOOK REVEALS the essence of the “Private Teachings” imparted by Jesus two thousand years ago, presented under the light of the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and the “hidden symbols” found in the four gospels.
To illustrate this Path, each of its thirty-three chapters of this book is followed by a biblical passage, olden legend, short story or excerpt from the works of the Masters of Mystic Literature, including by St. John of The Cross, Meister Eckhart, Rumi, Gibran Khalil Gibran, René Guenon, Dante Alighieri, Martin Luther, Mark Twain, Lew Wallace, Voltaire, Eliphas Levi, Edouard Shure, and Alan Watts, among others.
Our starting point will be one of the basic principles found in Eckhart Tolle´s “The Power of Now”: “In essence there is and always has been only one spiritual teaching, although it comes in many forms”. If this principle is true, then we must also accept as true that Jesus and Eckhart Tolle imparted the same basic spiritual teaching, although in different form.
Revealing the essence of this teaching, as taught by Jesus according to the ancient scriptures, is the object of these pages.
