REVIEWS
5.0 out of 5 stars Fast pacing and interesting theory September 3, 2012

I expected this action/adventure to be military/black ops action, which it presents very believably. I also anticipated a bit of an 'apocalypse' twist, which it is, in a way, though in more end of the world as we know it rather than end of the world.

Well developed characters, a new scientific discovery vaguely along the lines of Jurassic Park and others of that type, with nanobot technology, carried along by excellent presentation of the usual black ops/military type action. Good character development which included the changes in mindsets triggered by exposure to the Plague.

A definite twist at the end which leaves me wondering just where the author tends to go with the plotline, which could develop in an interesting way.

5.0 out of 5 stars "That others may live." May 12, 2013

It's easy (or at least easier) to make decisions in your everyday life when you and your loved ones are healthy in body and mind but what if you weren't? What if you had cancer or muscular dystrophy or had been in a car wreck or suffered PTSD?

Elise Wallis is a research scientist with incurable cancer when she is introduced to the Eden Plague.

Daniel Markis was an Air Force Pararescueman before injuries and PTSD sidelined him. Now he's been infected with the Eden Plague, curing him of all his ills but leaving one "small" change. Was it worth it? And a big question - where did this virus originate from?

Beyond fast-paced with believable characters, the author drew me into his vision of this small group of Americans who have to make earth-changing decisions based on the Eden Plague virus. This is TEOTWAWKI plus military thriller plus sci fi.

Some twists and turns along the way with a little (awkward) romance thrown in, I've already purchased the next book in the series
The Demon Plagues: Book 2 (Plague Wars) and am looking forward to diving onto it right away.

NOTE: I was provided a copy of this book for review purposes and I have given an honest review.
