AUTHOR BIO

I’ve always had two great passions: writing and psychology. When I
realized writing would be a hit-or-miss way to make a living–and being
partial to eating and electricity–I opted to study psychology. Now, as
a retired psychotherapist I can delve into the minds of my characters to my heart’s content. I spend most of my time in an alternate universe populated by my imaginary friends while my physical body

lives in Florida. I surface occasionally to pet my dog and say hi to my husband.

I received this novelette (37 pages) from the author to review. "James" goes back to the home that was his parents home to spend the weekend with some friends hoping to arrive before them. He finds them already there and a horrific scene. The small town sheriff doesn't believe him. This is a great thriller and keeps you in suspense. I really enjoyed this book. The plot comes together quick enough that you think you know "who done it." I am looking forward to reading more by this author
